For lack of a better description, this blog is going to be a melting pot of anything and everything that has to do with our quickly expanding business (us Grooming Guys are going to try and be extremely candid — very little corporate spin). On that note, there are a ton of really interesting things that have happened over the past few days and that loom on the horizon. Here’s the rundown:
New Web Site Launch: You’ve probably noticed that we just completed an overhaul of groominglounge.com. While keeping the “meat” of the site intact, we’ve added a ton of new features (inlcuding this blog) aimed at making your shopping experience easier. Click around to see what’s new.
Playboy Feature: Grooming Lounge Shaving Solutions are featured and praised in the August Issue of Playboy Magazine. This is probably the first case of “fathers” being proud to see their “babies” in Playboy.
A Three-Senator Day: We hit a record in our D.C. store Monday by having three U.S. Senators visit the shop for haircuts. We can’t give out thier names… but if you’re watching C-Span… they’re the ones who look more handsome than the others.
We’re Growing: We’ll be opening a new Grooming Lounge store early next year (in a major U.S. city) and are finalizing the location this week. We both hate the act of flying to this spot, but that’s nothing a little Ambien can’t cure (that’s a joke). We’ll let you know the location once it’s finalized.
