The appearance on the NBC iVilliage Live show went well on Thursday. Orlando was freezing and the show was taped at the Universal Studio’s Theme Park there. One of the highlights of the trip included waiting in the Green Room, which also happened to be the same room the park’s Incredible Hulk and Captain America get ready to meet and greet park guests… interesting!
As for the show, I (Pirooz) gave the hosts and audience some tips on how to take care of themselves. Ultimately, since it’s a female-focused show, I really just told ladies how to get their guys to be less hairy. Grab a nose hair trimmer, trim their eyebrows, etc. The main segment was a makeover type feature in which a guy with a ton of bushy hair volunteered to get it cut. The audience voted for the style I would give him and that’s just what I did.
Later in the show they trotted him out (albeit in an off-the-rack suit that was five sizes to big for him) and everyone applauded at how handsome he looked. I thanked the hosts, grabbed my coat and headed back to the Nation’s Capital. It was a fun trip and everyone associated with the show was beyond welcoming.
