– THE GOOD & BAD OF INAUGURATION IN D.C.: It’s great because there are going to be a ton of people in town to stimulate the local economy and we’ve gotten a lot of publicity regarding our now-famous Oba-massage Promotion (see previous posts). It’s bad because our D.C. store needs to close next Tuesday for the event as every street is blocked off and our staff and guests have “zippy” chance of making here on any schedule. Open on Inauguration Day? NO… WE CAN’T!
– GROOMING LOUNGE ATLANTA OFFERING MEMBERSHIPS: We don’t offer this up in other stores, but based on a ton of requests, we are now offering Membership Opportunities for our Atlanta store. Nutshell is that Members pay a reasonable up-front fee and get unlimited Haircuts, Hot Lather Shaves and Manicures. It’s called the GL CLUB and we have a cool logo and everything (yipee). – WE’VE BEEN NAILED LATELY: Thanks to a kind mention in a very, very popular online men’s grooming magazine, we’ve sold hundreds, if not thousands, of manly grooming tools from ACE in the last month. So many so that the local ACE rep drove three hours to our warehouse to deliver products so we could fulfill important orders.
– EXPANDING OUR LIFESTYLE OFFERINGS SOON: In December, in conjunction with our latest Catalog drop, we began offering a bunch of Lifestyle products. Stuff to help guys look and feel great, but not necessarily standard grooming fare. Anyway, we’ve gotten great response from our handpicked Lifestyle stuff from the likes of Jack Spade, Michael Krell and more. So, in the coming month’s, hold your horses for the introduction of some cool stuff like collar stays, luggage and Alpacas.
– VIDEO WE’RE OBSESSED WITH: Not really sure why, but simply can’t stop watching what is possibly the worst/best music video of all time. It’s right here and no… we can’t refund the time you waste watching this.
