Imagine technology that would allow you to take Uncle Junior, Stringer Bell, Kenny Powers, Larry David (and the prostitute he picked up solely to use the HOV Lane) with you anywhere? If we could get our hands on such an invention, we’d commit to watching a few episodes of that awful show where the four ladies incessantly talk about shoes and menopause.
Well, thanks to the deities at HBO, looks like we’re on the hook for a few installments with Carrie and the girls (oops… give did we give ourselves away?). You see, the cable behemoth just threw guys a major bone by introducing HBO Go, a free app available on iOS and Android devices that offers thousands of episodes of mankind’s favorite series. We’re talking about allowing gents to watch any episode they want of The Wire, The Sopranos, Eastbound and Down, Curb Your Enthusiasm and more. We tried it, loved it and will probably get in trouble with our spouses for watching it too much.
If you’re an HBO subscriber, head on over to the HBO Go main site and get to streaming, or download the app from the Android Market or iOS App Store using the links below. Pretty, pretty, pretty cool.

This is the greatest thing. Just watched Season 5 Episode 1 of the wire. Thanks for the heads up. Streaming was a bit iffy, but loving it.
Only issue is many ny city folks can’t use it??????
