In our ongoing efforts to make the world an even more handsome place, Grooming Lounge is proud to introduce a mobile application guaranteed to reduce the number of men sporting unibrows, excess nose hair, comb overs, body odor, uneven goatees, excess cologne and more. Available now via iTunes, our “Send A Tip” application allows concerned and observant individuals to anonymously alert gentlemen to their most glaring grooming faux pas.
“Men who have these issues need to know they have them and how to correct them,” said everyone who works at Grooming Lounge. “We’re providing a safe environment for people to be that all-important nose-hair or razor burn whistle blower.”
Once at the application, visitors have the option of sending one of more than 15 grooming issues to any guy with an e-mail address. The needy recipient will then get the head’s up and a tip via Grooming Lounge, all the while unaware of the altruistic sender. In addition, the application also enables easy reading of this here blog and “one tap” dialing to Grooming Lounge Barbershops.
The “Send a Tip” app is available as a free download from the Apple App Store for both iPhone and iPod touch. We certainly hope that a) lots of people download and use the application b) everyone takes it with a “grain of salt” (not trying to offend anyone — just a little grooming fun) — and c) the number of glaring grooming issues is reduced worldwide.

I like this app — sent it to a few of my buddies who needed the help. They still haven’t a clue it was from me. You should like it directly to the product they should by, rather than just the home page. It’s no Angry Birds, but solid effort GL.
Hey guys!! Wish I had an iPhone to send you the question directly ( darn blackberry )
Anyways – been using the GL Shampoo for a few weeks now. Good stuff! Curious, though, what’s the specific pH number? My barber says it’s really important for me to know. Ive gotta keep these lovely locks healthy!
Thanks!
Our shampoo has a PH of 5.1. – 5.6. That’s a good question and maybe explaining ph is a decent topic for a future blog.
I would love to hear about PH. I’ve never even heard it referenced before so I have no clue how it can affect your hair.
A couple suggestions if I may:
1. For the apple haters: Android? Please?
2. Isn’t this something you could easily code into the site or just create some sort of email address where we could send something like this without the use of the app? Now THAT would be handy.
We’re working on both. Thanks for the feedback.
Glad to hear about your app. Men’s grooming advice is definitely something that’s needed. I like the fact that one can send tips in a private setting. Great work.
