5 Things We WON’T DO To Drive Sales

In light of what’s happening with the economy, many businesses would be willing to do just about anything to garner media attention… thus leading to increased sales.  And while we’re not (and have never been opposed) to doing quirky stuff to get press for Grooming Lounge (see our Presidential Eyebrow Survey), we do draw the line somewhere.  Not that you even asked, but here’s a list of things even we wouldn’t engage in to get publicity (unless we’re talking Today Show-type coverage — then we have to talk):

The Grooming Guys Wouldn’t…

- Crash a White House State Dinner and then post pictures of ourselves on our Twitter page or this blog.

- Chase after one another with a golf club at 2:30 AM, thus forcing one Grooming Guy to crash the company Maybach into both a tree and fire hydrant.

- Pretend to send any of our staff members into the sky in a giant GL air balloon, thus setting off a frenzy of media coverage and police pursuit.

- Take, and later deny, using performance enhancing drugs aimed at increasing our hair-cutting and shave-cream-recommending abilities.

- Wear Oakley Blade sunglasses.
