A female-focused web site recently conducted a publicity-seeking survey to determine and publicize their list of the U.S. Cities With The Ugliest Guys. The publicity part certainly worked as TV stations nationwide, including our local D.C. Fox Affiliate, have run with this list and story. And while us Grooming Guys are certainly not above doing nearly anything to generate buzz (remember our 2004 Election Predictions based on candidate’s eyebrow length), we do see this “Ugly List” as a bit of a low blow. Bottom line… never directly insult potential customers, their husbands, wives, kids, etc.
So, in our ongoing efforts to make the world a more handsome and happier place, we want to help cheer guys in the targeted cities up. Sure the survey is a joke, having been based on things like gym memberships, smoking habits and education, but deep down it probably stings just a bit.
