A lot has happened at our Flagship Washington, D.C. store since we opened in March 2002. Tens of thousands of haircuts, shaves, massages, business manicures and more. Know what else has happened? The walls, ceilings, floors, etc. of our breakthrough location have gotten just a tad beat up.
Beat up or worn down doesn’t work for us Grooming Guys, so we took action.
This past month we’ve embarked on a mission to make sure the place that started the whole men’s grooming enlightenment era (excuse us for taking credit) looks as it should. So, during your next visit to the Nation’s Capitol, make sure to check out our:
- New Wall Covering & Paint in the Barbershop: It’s a bit funkier/hipper than before, but undeniably cool. Think grey paisley mixed with Fleur de Lis.
- Totally Renovated Restroom: Hey… guys spend time in there so it should look nice. Our new version has wall covering fit for a king (crowns galore) and a modern new basin, shelving and more.
- Spa Ceilings: Clean, fresh and relaxing tiles were installed so men have something soothing to view when looking skyward.
- Spa Flooring: Dark, warm wood. Nice.
Anyway, not trying to bore you with too many details. It’s just that the place looks like a million and we wanted you to know how important it is to us that it stay that way. We’d have shown pictures, but our digital camera is on the fritz. Guess you’ll have to come see the real deal in person.

The barbershop…
…grey paisley mixed with Fleur de Lis….
I don’t really go for it. Kind of bordello-ish. At least it isn’t flocked!
And the lighting is awfully low to try to get a good haircut.
